Cookie policy
What this site stores in your browser, who it's for, and how to turn it off.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar feature that lets a site keep a small value on your device. This site uses a few of each, none of them for advertising.
Google Analytics
Cookies: _ga and _ga_<id>. Set by Google Analytics 4 to tell visits apart and count how people use the site. They last up to two years. The data goes to Google and is used only to produce site statistics for me.
Vercel Analytics
No cookies. Vercel, which hosts this site, counts page views in aggregate without storing anything in your browser.
The free guide flag
Local storage key: aiia.waitlist.joined. Set by this site when you sign up for the free guide, so the guide stays unlocked when you come back. It stays until you clear your browser data, never leaves your device, and isn't used for tracking.
Checkout and course pages
Checkout and the course itself run on Systeme.io, and payments on Stripe. Those pages set their own cookies to keep you logged in, protect against fraud and complete payment. They're covered by Systeme.io's and Stripe's own cookie policies.
How to turn them off
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. You can also install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics on every site. Blocking the guide flag just means you'll be asked for your email again; blocking checkout cookies may stop checkout or the course from working.
If the law where you live requires consent before analytics cookies are set, a consent banner will be added to ask you first.
